Product Features

This innovative U-shaped heat exchange tube design boasts a sleek and compact structure, facilitating effortless cleaning of its interior. However, users should note that the shell side does not permit mechanical cleaning. Additionally, if there is a temperature difference greater than 50°C between the shell and the heat exchange tubes, thermal stress, commonly known as heat stress, could potentially cause damage.

To counteract this issue, it is advisable to install expansion joints on the shell to control shell-side pressure and prevent potential damage. This design is ideally suited for environments where the shell-side fluid remains clean and does not scale, and where the temperature difference between fluids is manageable or the shell side pressure remains low.
