Note, however, that due to its design, the shell side does not support mechanical cleaning. Moreover, be aware that a significant temperature differential, exceeding 50°C, between the shell and the heat exchange tubes may induce thermal stress, potentially leading to material stress.

To counteract such thermal challenges, our design includes the installation of expansion joints on the shell, effectively controlling shell side pressure to avert any potential damage. Ideal for situations where the shell side fluid remains clean and non-scaling, this configuration thrives under moderate temperature differences or when shell side pressure remains controlled.
