Our innovative heat exchanger boasts a design with simple elegance and a compact form. This makes interior cleaning of the tubes straightforward and efficient. However, it is important to note that the shell side is not suitable for mechanical cleaning. Furthermore, should the temperature differential between the shell and the heat exchange tubes exceed 50°C, thermal stress (or heat stress) might pose a risk. To counteract this, we recommend the installation of expansion joints on the shell, which helps manage the pressure within the shell side and prevent potential damage. This design is particularly beneficial for scenarios where the shell side fluid remains clean and non-scaling, the temperature difference between the two fluids is minimal, or if the pressure on the shell side remains low.

Our design strategy includes the incorporation of expansion joints on the shell, effectively mitigating potential damage by limiting shell-side pressure. This approach is ideal for applications where shell side fluid cleanliness is paramount, preventing scaling, and when the temperature differential between fluids is minimal, or if not, ensuring that shell-side pressure is moderated to prevent excessive stress.
