A multifunctional sonochemical reaction device comprises a reaction vessel and an ultrasonic transducer. The reaction vessel is a sealed container consisting of a vessel body and a detachable vessel cover at the top. The vessel wall is double-layered, with a temperature control chamber formed between the layers for accommodating cooling or heating fluids.
