Product Description

1. Classification by Material Phase
Reactors are classified into homogeneous and heterogeneous reactors based on the phase of the reaction mixture inside the reactor. Homogeneous reactors involve uniform mixing or dissolution of reactants into a single gas or liquid phase, further categorized into gas-phase reactors and liquid-phase reactors. Heterogeneous reactors, on the other hand, include gas-liquid, gas-solid, liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, and gas-liquid-solid reactors.

2. Classification by Reactor Structure
Reactors can be classified based on their structural characteristics into kettle-type, tubular, tower, fixed bed, and fluidized bed reactors.

3. Classification by Operating Method
Reactors can be classified into batch, semi-continuous, and continuous types based on their operating methods.

4. Classification by Temperature Conditions and Heat Transfer Methods
Reactors can be categorized into isothermal and non-isothermal reactors based on temperature conditions. They can also be classified into adiabatic, externally heated, and naturally heated reactors based on heat transfer methods.

A multifunctional sonochemical reaction device comprises a reaction vessel and an ultrasonic transducer. The reaction vessel is a sealed container consisting of a vessel body and a detachable vessel cover at the top. The vessel wall is double-layered, with a temperature control chamber formed between the layers for accommodating cooling or heating fluids. The temperature control chamber has fluid inlet and outlet ports. The ultrasonic transducer is vertically mounted at the bottom of the reaction vessel. The vessel cover features a stirring paddle that can extend into the reaction vessel and a motor for driving the paddle rotation. Additionally, the reaction vessel is equipped with a feeding hopper with a valve and a pressure control device.


This device is capable of controlling and monitoring the temperature and pressure in chemical processes, conveniently setting the frequency and power of ultrasonic waves, meeting the pressure, vacuum level, or protective atmosphere required for chemical reactions. It is particularly suitable for chemical research involving highly volatile and toxic reagents, and can also be used for industrial production.

(1) Since the molecules of the reactants have equal residence time in the reactor, the concentration of reactants and chemical reaction rate at any point in the reactor do not change with time, but only with the length of the pipe. 

(2) Tubular reactors have small volume, large surface area, and a large heat transfer area per unit volume, making them particularly suitable for reactions with significant heat effects. 

(3) Due to the fast reaction rate and flow velocity of reactants in tubular reactors, they have high production capacity. 

(4) Tubular reactors are suitable for large-scale and continuous chemical production. 

(5) Compared to batch reactors, they have less back-mixing, and at lower flow rates, the flow pattern inside the tube is closer to that of an ideal fluid. 

(6) Tubular reactors are suitable for both liquid-phase and gas-phase reactions, and are particularly suitable for pressurized reactions.
