The Corrosion Resistant U-Shaped Heat Exchange Tube boasts an elegantly straightforward and compact design, facilitating interior tube cleaning with ease. However, it's noteworthy that mechanical cleaning of the shell side isn’t viable. Moreover, a considerable temperature variance (>50°C) between the shell and the heat exchange tubes can result in thermal stress, with potentially destructive outcomes.

To counteract these effects, the incorporation of expansion joints on the shell is essential to regulate pressure and avert possible damage. This innovative design is ideally suited for scenarios where the shell side fluid remains pristine and non-scaling, and the differential temperature between fluids is minimal, or if substantial, the shell side pressure is maintained at a low level.
