When faced with significant temperature differences exceeding 50°C between the shell and heat exchange tubes, it is imperative to address thermal stress, also known as heat stress, which can be damaging.

To effectively counteract potential thermal stress, our design incorporates the use of expansion joints on the shell, expertly controlling pressure within the shell side to prevent any damage. This innovative solution is ideal for scenarios where the shell side fluid is pristine and non-scaling, where temperature variance between fluids remains minimal, or where shell side pressure is relatively low, ensuring optimal performance without compromise.
