Be mindful of significant temperature differences (>50°C) between the shell and tubes, as this can lead to thermal stress, potentially causing damage.

To counter potential thermal stress, it is essential to integrate expansion joints on the shell, thereby limiting shell-side pressure and safeguarding the system. This ingenious design is perfect for applications where the shell side fluid remains pristine, and temperature variations between fluids are minimal or where the shell side pressure remains moderate, optimizing performance and longevity.
